When is the cottage available?
All year: Weeks run from Friday to Friday. Special off
peak weekend packages are also available.
When should I book my reservation?
Reservations can be made at the beginning of the calendar
year; the
earlier the better. Prime summer weeks go quickly, so call
early to ensure your reservation. Call at anytime as a cancellation
may occur.
What is the 2008 pricing rate for renting the cottage?
Weekly rates:
$675/winter $1250/ off peak $2500/ peak
$2950.00/Premium
How do we pay should we decide to reserve a week?
Payment is by check, money order or Major Credit Card. We require 1/2
rent at time of reservation. Balance plus an $800.00 security deposit
is due 90 days prior to
arrival at the cottage.
What time should we plan to arrive and depart the
cottage?
Arrival is 5:00 p.m. Friday. Departure is promptly at
11:00 a.m. the following Friday to ensure adequate
preparation for future arrivals.
Who provides the linens?
We do. You are responsible for laundering and replacing
all linens used.
Who cleans the cottage?
We insure the cottage is clean prior to your arrival and
it's your responsibility to leave the cottage clean upon
your departure. Additional
cleaning (beyond normal maintenance) will be deducted from the security deposit at $75.00
per hr.
Where can we rent a boat, raft or jet ski?
We offer a 2001 custom 22' Smokercraft pontoon boat on site.
We also offer a 2001 Kawasaki 1300 DI jet
ski. The rates are as
follows:
The security deposit each is $500.00
Pontoon: $950.00 per week plus
fuel and oil.Jet ski :
$250.00 per hour plus fuel and oil.
There are other rental locations listed in the local
phone directory.
Where can we refuel the water craft?
A fueling station is located mid lake on the south shoreline
adjacent to the Eagles Nest Restaurant. Failure to refuel
will subject tenant to fuel cost plus a $50.00 fueling charge
which will be deducted from the security deposit.
How do we access the cottage?
A keypad is located at the overhead door. You will
receive a code to the keypad for your week. Codes are unique
per visit. Once inside, there is also a garage door opener
for your convenience. Loss of overhead opener will
assess tenant $70.00.
How do we dispose of trash?
Trash pickup is scheduled for early Friday morning. If
the scheduled pick up is missed, an additional pickup will
be arranged at a cost of $85.00 to tenant.
